There are many ways to get involved! We always need volunteers for the following:

• Set design
• Set construction
• Set painting
• Marketing
• Props
• Costumes
• Stage crew
• Concessions
• Fundraising
• Ushers

Internship Programs

WHCT has established an internship program in the following categories: (1) seniors, (2) minority youth, as well as (3) the economically disadvantaged. The program gives seniors and students experience while helping the theater meet its needs for technical expertise.

There are up to five (5) internship positions available each year. The internships are as follows: (1) assistant stage manager, (2) assistant lighting technician, (3) assistant sound technician, (4) assistant set designer (construction), and (5) assistant producer (marketing). WHCT developed this program with support from the community to help seniors and minority students become involved in the community and to develop life long technical skills in the performing arts.
